How long will the weak opposition push the country into darkness?

The opposition is causing huge loss to the country by creating a mess by talking ‘Tu-Tu’, ‘Main-Main’ on every issue. It is not allowing the Parliament to function, is misleading the country by playing cheap and cheap politics by publicizing part of the half-baked statement. How to give rise to baseless and misleading issues, how to push the country into darkness, Congress and the entire opposition are working day and night on this, the proof of this is the statement given by Home Minister Amit Shah in the Parliament last day regarding Dr. Ambedkar. Opposition’s uproar, heated argument and uproar. The basis of this uproar is that the Home Minister insulted Ambedkarji by saying that if Ambedkar and Ambedkar had taken God’s name so much, he would have gone to heaven for seven births. The problem is that those creating ruckus are not able to explain how Ambedkarji was insulted by saying this? See the irony that how did the party which had been insulting, despising and ignoring Ambedkar since independence suddenly become such a supporter of him? The opposition is creating all this ruckus because Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party have included Ambedkar among the top national leaders and have made his policies, principles and values an important part of politics. The opposition is afraid that BJP will replace Ambedkar with Prime Minister V.P. After Singh, there has been genuine concern for the interests of the Dalit community by giving it proper place, due to which the Dalit vote seems to be going in favor of BJP. Therefore, the arguments given by the opposition and their leaders, who are bent on creating unnecessary ruckus by presenting Shah’s statement in a distorted and incomplete form, are not only strange but also ridiculous.
The opposition, especially the Congress, which is shedding crocodile tears over Baba Saheb Ambedkar, is forgetting that it is these parties who have insulted and neglected Ambedkar the most. Earlier Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru did not like Ambedkar. Because Ambedkar was unhappy with the Congress policy of Muslim appeasement. His opinion was that the country was divided on the basis of religion, hence all Muslims should leave India? Gandhi and Nehru opposed this ideology? Gandhi went on a hunger strike in protest? Baba Saheb compromised with Gandhi and drafted the Constitution according to Muslims? Yet Nehru continued to oppose Baba Saheb. Even when Ambedkar contested elections, Nehru defeated him by fielding a Congress candidate against him? See the irony that Ambedkar’s secretary Narayan Sadoba pitted Kajrolkar against him. Congress not only defeated him twice in the elections but also continued to ignore him in the central government. Angered by this, Ambedkar resigned from the post of minister and made serious allegations against Nehru. Not only this, Ambedkar had also talked about burning the Constitution he had made because the administration of the Constitution was in the wrong hands.

Despite these tragic and inconsistent situations in history, on what basis is Congress protesting in the Parliament premises by taking Ambedkar’s photographs? To strengthen their allegation, the opposition and especially the Congress leaders are publicizing a part of the Home Minister’s statement but are not ready to listen to the remaining part of it, in which he had said that the government should not take the name of Dr. Ambedkar. How people worked against his ideas and did not hesitate to insult him. It seems that Congress was upset with this and that is why it started raking up this matter inside and outside the Parliament. To add to this, its leaders created ruckus in both the Houses of Parliament even today and BJP MP Pratap Sarangi got head injury in the scuffle at Makar Dwar between the MPs of both the parties. He has been admitted to the hospital. The injured MP alleged that Rahul Gandhi pushed an MP, who fell on him. Responding to the allegation, Rahul said yes! This happened. They were trying to stop us at the entrance. These arguments and tragic situations are going to tarnish the parliamentary dignity. The standard of Congress’s arguments not only degrades the political discourse but also shows how the leaders have become adept at manipulating the political discourse. Congress is spreading factless and misleading rumors about BJP. Congress has been singing the song of poverty and unemployment from Nehru to Manmohan Singh, but neither the poor nor unemployment ended during their rule? When flawed intentions and inexperience get combined in the context of gaining power, such ridiculous situations are created. This is the current situation in Indian politics.
The level of political debate should not be so shallow, level-headed and baseless. Shouting a lie loudly does not make it true. It was good that instead of giving any clarification on his statement, the Home Minister considered it appropriate to bluntly say that his entire statement should be heard. Well, it is certain that the opposition leaders are not going to do this, because they have to prove that Ambedkarji has been insulted, the Constitution is in danger, hence the Home Minister should resign from his post. After all, if this is not called foolish politics then what can we call it? It is not surprising that Rahul Gandhi again started seeing that the Modi government is going to change the Constitution. Congress leaders are free to raise their heads over the Home Minister’s statement, but they cannot hide the truth of how Dr. Ambedkar was neglected and ignored during his rule. The biggest proof of this is that while Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi were honored with Bharat Ratna during their lifetime, Ambedkar could receive this honor decades later in 1990. So much so that the pictures of Motilal Nehru, Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi were put up in the Central Hall of Parliament, but the picture of Ambedkar was put up in V.P. Singh imposed it while he was Prime Minister. Will Congress be able to tell why this happened? Why was Ambedkar continuously ignored?
Dr. Ambedkar had said in his historic speech of November 25, 1949 that how good the Constitution will be will depend on the mentality and intentions of the leadership running it in the future. This was proved literally true in 1975-77, when the desire to remain in office violated the Constitution and imposed emergency, which history will not forget. But the noise being heard today about saving the Constitution and whose copy is being waved from Parliament to Sambhal is just an attempt to divert the attention of the country, a mere attempt to mislead the public. It is certainly pitiful, ironic and tragic that the anxiety of the people desperate to gain power is now manifesting itself in the form of deadly aggression. The disruptions that are being created in the functioning of Parliament neither show any respect for the Constitution of India nor any respect for Ambedkar. Today our opposition does not have a single leader who can take the country out of this situation and can assure the survival of the national character. The question is, for how long will the disappointing opposition continue to push the country into darkness?
