The Boeing aircraft carrying 232 passengers and 10 crew members crashed in Meghaninagar area near Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport at around 2:00 pm on Thursday.
Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, described the Ahmedabad Air India aircraft accident as a heart -wrenching and urged Congress workers to provide all possible help at the ground level amidst the current situation. The Boeing aircraft carrying 232 passengers and 10 crew members crashed in Meghaninagar area near Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport at around 2:00 pm on Thursday.
In a post on X, Rahul Gandhi wrote: “The Ahmedabad Air India accident is heartbreaking. The pain and anxiety that the passengers and crew families must be felt are unimaginable. My sensations are with each of them in this incredibly difficult moment.” The Congress leader further said that immediate rescue and relief efforts by the administration are important – every life matters, every second matters. Congress workers should make every effort to help the ground level.
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday demanded “immediate clarification” about the Air India aircraft accident in Ahmedabad. On the social media platform X, Akhilesh Yadav said: “There should be immediate explanation about the Ahmedabad plane crash so that all doubts can be eliminated. Prayer for all passengers and crew members. The highest level of rescue, relief and treatment should be provided.”
