Age Limit
- No person shall be eligible for direct recruitment if his age is less than 18 years and if his age is more than 35 years.
- For in-service contract workers working in APDISCOMS, age at the time of entry into the organization as contract worker will be considered.
- Relaxation in the upper age limit up to 5 years is allowed for SC/ST and Backward Class candidates.
Mode Of Selection
- The evaluation will be done on a scale of 100 marks with a maximum of 80 marks for the total marks obtained in SSC and a maximum of 20 marks @ 1 mark for each completed 6 months period for experience in service as contract worker in APDISCOMs.
- Candidates have to appear for the following tests at Circle Head Quarters:
- Pole climbing
- meter reading
- cycling
Application Fee

Pay Scale
On selection and appointment candidates will be paid Rs. Rs.15,000/- per month as consolidated salary for a period of 2 years.
Educational Qualifications
SSC / 10th class with ITI qualification in Electrical Trade / Wireman Trade or equivalent with Intermediate Vocational Course in Electrical Domestic Appliances and Rewinding (EDAR) and Electrical Wiring and Servicing of Electrical Appliances (EW&SEA) in Electrical Wiring & Contractors (EWC). Or from a recognized Institute/Board.
