Mode Of Selection

The SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1 exam will consist of 100 questions carrying 200 marks. Candidates will be awarded 2 marks for each correct answer, while 0.50 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer, which follows the SSC CGL 2024 exam pattern.

The Tier 1 exam for SSC CGL in 2024 consists of English Language, General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. Candidates who successfully clear the CGL Tier 1 exam become eligible to proceed to the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam.

Educational Qualifications

All other positions:

• Graduation degree from a recognized university or institute.
• Candidates appearing in the final year of Graduation can also apply, however they must possess the required qualification on or before 01-08-2024.

Statistical Investigator Grade-II:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline with Statistics as a subject from a recognized University or Institute.
• Candidates must have studied Statistics as a subject in all three years or all 6 semesters of the graduation course.

Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC):

• Essential Qualification: Graduation degree from a recognized University or Institute.

Junior Statistical Officer:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% marks in Mathematics at class 12th level OR
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline with Statistics as a subject at the degree level.
