The starting salary of SSC MTS ranges from Rs 18,000 to Rs 22,000 per month with a pay band of Rs 5200 – 20200. This is the in-hand salary for both Multi Tasking Staff and Havildar posts.

The application fee for the SSC MTS 2024 exam is Rs 100. However, female candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD/ESM categories are exempted from paying the fee. - Educational Qualification: Matriculation (Class 10th) certificate from a recognized board is mandatory.
- Age Limit: Age limit varies depending on the post and category. The minimum age limit for Havildar post is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 27 years.
- This implies that candidates born not before 02-01-1998 and not after 01-01-2005 are eligible to apply. On the other hand, for the Multi Tasking Staff post, the age limit of the candidates should be between 18 to 25 years. Age relaxation is given for reserved category candidates.
