Tel Aviv. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katj said that he has directed the army to be ready to stay in some urban refugee camps of West Bank till the coming year. Katj said that about 40,000 Palestinians have been displaced from three camps on the North West coast and are now vacant. He said that the army has to be prepared for “long stay” in camps and “the residents should not allow to return.”
Katj made this comment at a time when the Israeli Palestinian region is intensifying the attack and the struggle stop stopping the Gaza war is still persisted. The army said on Sunday that it was intensifying raids in other areas of West Bank and sending tanks to the terrorists stronghold Genin. On January 21, two days after the ceasefire agreement, Israel started an attack on the Northern West Bank. Violence in West Bank has increased during the Israel-Hamas War. Late on Thursday, three vacant buses exploded in Israel, which the police are considering a suspected terrorist attack.
