At least 25 people, including children, were killed in Israeli air strikes on Friday in Gaza. Medical personnel gave this information. On the other hand, America’s new Ambassador to Israel Mike Hakabi participated in a public event for the first time in Jerusalem.
Nasir Hospital personnel said that 15 people were killed in three attacks in the southern city of Khan Unis, including a pregnant woman. Medical personnel of Indonesin Hospital said that 10 people involved in the dead are from Jabalia refugee camp.
Many people were killed a day earlier in Gaza after the Israeli attack intensified. US Ambassador Mike Hakabi, appointed in Israel, arrived at ‘Western Wall’ on Friday which is a major prayer site of Jews in the old city of Jerusalem.
Hakabi also attached an application on the wall, about which he said that it was written by US President Donald Trump with his own hands. Hakabi said that Trump had asked him to take his application for peace in Jerusalem.
Hakabi also said that every effort is being made to bring back all the rest of the hostages in Hamas. Hakabi has arrived in Gaza at the important time of 18 months of war. The International Mention Ceremony, including the US, wants to bring back back on track.
Israel demands that Hamas release more hostages before a ceasefire starts and finally agree to vacate the area. Israel has said that it plans to establish its control over the large “security areas” inside Gaza.
Khalil al-Hayya, head of Hamas’s talks delegation, said on Thursday that the group had rejected the latest proposal of Israel. He reiterated the attitude of Hamas that he would free the hostages in exchange for the release of more Palestinian prisoners, the full return of Israeli soldiers from Gaza and a permanent ceasefire, as stated in the January’s ceasefire agreement. Hamas currently has 59 hostage and is believed to be 24 of them.
