Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday accused the BJP of hooliganism. He wrote a letter to the Election Commission in this regard. In his letter, Kejriwal has demanded the Election Commission to appoint independent observers in his New Delhi constituency. Kejriwal has written in the letter that for fear of defeat in the assembly elections, BJP workers are attacking his party workers and the Delhi Police is doing nothing.

AAP MLA Mohinder Goyal was allegedly attacked during a public meeting in Rohini area on Saturday. The incident happened when the AAP candidate from Rithala assembly constituency was talking to the local residents of ‘Pocket H’ of Goyal Sector 11. There was no immediate response from the BJP and the Delhi Police to the claims of Kejriwal.
In the New Delhi seat, Kejriwal competes with BJP’s Pravesh Verma and Congress’s Sandeep Dixit. Voting for Delhi’s 70 -member assembly will be held on February 5, counting will be held on February 8.
