Shama called Rohit Sharma a “fat for a player” and described his captaincy as “the most ineffective” compared to other captains of the team’s past. He now said in the removed X post that Rohit Sharma is fat for a player! Need to lose weight! And of course, it is India’s most ineffective captain ever. Amidst controversy over the Congress leader’s remarks, the party has distanced itself from his statements and said that it does not support comments that weaken the legacy of sports veterans.
