This was part of several camps at the Consulate for issuing life certificates for pension purposes. Temple officials said the event was canceled due to official intelligence from Peel Regional Police.

It is noteworthy that last week, protesters carrying Khalistani flags clashed with devotees at a Hindu Sabha temple and disrupted an event co-organized by the temple authorities and the Indian Consulate in Brampton.
