A controversial poster was put up in Lutyens' Delhi area early on Tuesday morning in which photos of former Prime Ministers of the country Manmohan Singh and Yasin Malik were put up. Also, while writing about voice for democracy on the poster, it has been said that Yasin Malik should be released. When are Delhi elections?
Under the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the first phase of elections was completed on April 19 (102 seats) and the second phase of elections was completed on April 26 (88 seats). Now the third phase of elections will be held on 7 May 2024. Voting will be held for a total of 94 seats in the third phase. There are a total of 7 Lok Sabha seats in Delhi. Voting will be held simultaneously on these seven seats in the sixth phase on May 25. The election results for all these seats will be released by the Commission simultaneously on June 4.
Yasin is in jail
Terrorist Yasin Malik is currently lodged in Delhi's Tihar Jail in a terror funding case. Last 2022, the NIA court had sentenced him to life imprisonment.
