Janhit Dal has announced the names of former bus marshal Shyamo Devi (Narela), Praveen Kumar (Mundka), Lalit Bhati (Mustafabad), Aditya Rai (New Delhi) and Anil Kumar (Burari). The sixth candidate Rakesh Ranjan Srivastava has got the party ticket from Timarpur assembly constituency.
The list of Janhit Dal candidates comes at a time when the proposed reinstatement of bus marshals in Delhi has become a point of political controversy between AAP and BJP, with both the Delhi government and the Lieutenant Governor at loggerheads over the issue.
Last month, VK Saxena had said that he has not yet received any proposal for re-appointment of removed Civil Defense Volunteers (CDVs) as bus marshals in 2023, while Chief Minister Atishi claimed that the proposal has been received only from the Lieutenant Governor. is near.
