The Chief Minister participated in another event organized in his memory of Ambedkar in his constituency Shalimar Bagh. He later paid tribute to Ambedkar’s statue in the assembly premises along with Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijendra Gupta and other ministers.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta paid tribute to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar on his 134th birth anniversary on Monday. Apart from Rekha Gupta, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President J.P. Other dignitaries, including Nadda, laid a wreath at the statue of Ambedkar at the inspiration site in the Parliament House complex.
Earlier, during the day, the Chief Minister participated in another event organized in his memory of Ambedkar in his constituency Shalimar Bagh. He later paid tribute to Ambedkar’s statue in the assembly premises along with Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijendra Gupta and other ministers.
Gupta remembered Ambedkar as the precursor to equality, social justice and human rights. He also mentioned Ambedkar’s unique contribution in the creation of the Indian Constitution.
