False narratives are being created against Indian Sanatan culture

After looking at the recently released data related to development in various sectors in India, it comes to mind that the Indian economy is now running fast on track. But, there is no mention in the country’s media about the new records being continuously created in India’s economic sector. On the contrary, employment opportunities are not increasing in the country, the poor are becoming extremely poor, the inflation rate is increasing, hunger is increasing, violence is increasing, minorities are being persecuted, etc. A lot of efforts are being made to create discussion on the topics.
India has a history of creating false narratives. Even during the British rule, many attempts were made to create false narratives such as any idea coming from the West is scientific and modern, India is a country of snake charmers and only the illiterate poor class resides in it, Indian Sanatan Hindu culture is conservative and It is unscientific, urbanization is a major medium of development, hence only urbanization should be promoted, ignoring rural development, among urban, rural and tribal, urban areas are of more importance from the point of view of economic development, foreign language. Knowing this increases self-confidence among the citizens, logic should be given more importance than culture, giving more importance to the individual and the individual as a whole i.e. individualism should be promoted (concept of capitalism), a person who works less is considered smarter. , Looking down on everything based on Sanatan Hindu culture, like Diwali firecrackers harm the environment, water is wasted on Holi festival. Overall, Hindu traditions based on Sanatan Indian Sanatan culture are being continuously attacked by Western countries today.

Similarly, “My Body My Choice” attacks Indian Sanatan culture; “We are afraid to live in India”; Efforts are being made to establish a narrative. Washington Post and New York Times write long articles that injustice is being done to Muslims in India. Even during the Covid pandemic, a lot of attempts were made to defame India. BBC is trying to bring a documentary based on the events of 2002 among the society today. American institute “Hindenburg” releases its report on the alleged financial irregularities of Adani Group, which is a major player in developing infrastructure in India so that this group faces financial loss and this group does not participate in the economic progress of India. Couldn’t do it. In the Happiness Index and Hunger Index, India’s situation is falsely said to be worse than countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan. Former US President Barack Obama speaks contrastingly about the situation of Indian Muslims when the Indian Prime Minister is on a visit to the US. It seems that this campaign against India is being run jointly by many institutions and countries.
Misconceptions about India have been spread, ignoring the various achievements that India has been continuously achieving in various fields. For example, if Indians do something new, it is called ‘Jugaad’ and if China does something new, it is called ‘reverse engineering’. Every step of the West is scientific, but Indian Ayurveda needs to prove everything. The incomplete study of the West is also in the category of science, but many ancient scientific facts of India are also considered orthodox. There is no place for a person’s sentimentality in western ideology, only technology is considered. Similarly, western countries create hue and cry about child labor in India, but in their own countries, children below 16 years of age also participate in many competitions, but in their view, this does not come under the category of child labour. . In India, if children below the age of 16 years start mastering the art of their traditional profession, then it is considered in the category of child labour. Why is this discussion of dual policy raised in the context of India?
According to Indian Sanatan values, family has been accepted as an important unit in India and joint families in India are seen as its culmination. However, in Western economic philosophy, joint families are almost nil visible and in developed countries, generally as soon as children attain the age of 18, they set up their own families and start living in separate houses from their parents. Perhaps the economic aspect behind this trend is that the more families there are, the more houses will be required, cars will be required, TV will be required, refrigerator will be required, etc. This will increase the need for almost all the products which will ultimately be seen in the form of increase in demand and this will increase the production of these goods. Selling more goods will also increase the profitability of multinational companies. Overall, this will accelerate the economic growth rate. In developed countries, these types of beliefs have now become common in the society. Now multinational companies in India are also trying to break the joint family system in India so that the number of families increases and the demand for various products increases and the sales of products manufactured by these companies increase in the market. For this, multinational companies make and sponsor various such social serials and telecast them on TV, in which the disadvantages of joint families are explained and the advantages of small families are shown. Fights between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law are shown over small matters and the ending is said to be the disintegration of the family. India is a huge country and the largest market in the world, if the multinational companies are successful in their vicious circle, then according to their thinking, the demand for products in India can increase drastically, this will directly help the multinational companies in particular. There will be benefit. Due to this reason, today many foreign citizens like George Soros, along with many other foreign institutions and multinational companies, are seen attacking Indian culture and trying to destroy Indian culture.
There is a need to break this campaign (false narrative) being run against India by western countries today. For this, each of their discussions will have to be kept separate and broken down in different ways. For example, if a woman following Indian traditions does not wear a bindi in an advertisement, then people will not buy that product, if Indian culture and spirituality is made fun of in a film, then the Indian society will boycott that film. Proper counter action should also be taken against the propaganda being done against Indian festivals, such as burning of firecrackers on Diwali causes harm to the environment, water is wasted on Holi, milk is spilled on Shivratri, etc. We have to understand that Indian traditions have been going on since ancient times and this culture believes in the principle of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. Therefore, if peace is to be established in the entire world, then only philosophy based on Indian culture can be helpful in this, it will be beneficial for the entire world.
