The Indian Air Force has issued an employment notification for the recruitment of Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches for Indian Air Force recruitment courses starting in July and AFCAT vacancies for NCC special admission. Indian Air Force Recruitment Age Limit (Age Limit)

• Flying Branch through AFCAT and NCC Special Entry: Birth from 20 to 24 years from 01 July 2022 i.e. 02 July 1998 to 01 July 2002 (included both dates). There is a discount of up to 26 years in the upper age limit for candidates having a valid and current commercial pilot license released by DGCA (India), ie 02 July 1996 to 01 July 2002 (both dates).
• Ground duty (technical/non-technical) branches: Birth from 20 to 26 years from 01 July 2022 i.e. 02 July 1996 to 01 July (both dates).

Application fee

After filling the online application form, the examination fee is Rs. 250/- (untreated) For AFCAT entry (NCC does not apply to special entry and meteorology) can be paid online through ‘Pay’ on the main menu of the online application. No cash or check or demand draft (DD) will be accepted for payment of examination fee. The examination fee can be paid through the payment gateway using credit / debit card / net banking.

Educational qualifications

1.Flight Branch:

Candidates must compulsorily pass 10+2 level mathematics and physics with minimum 60% marks and
(A) A minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university with a minimum of three -year degree course in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
These
(B) BE / B Tech Degree (four -year course) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent from a recognized university.
These
(C) Candidates who have passed Section A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India with minimum 60% marks or equivalent from a recognized university.

2. Grand duty (technical) branch:

Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) {AE (L)}:

10+2 level in physics and mathematics in each level with minimum 50% marks and minimum four -year degree in Engineering / Technology from a recognized university with minimum four -year degree / Integrated Post Graduate Qualification or Associate Membership Section A and B Exam Passed Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Institution of Electronics of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers 60% marks or equivalent

3. Grown duty (non-technical) branches:

Administration:

Has passed 10 + 2 and bachelor’s degree (minimum three -year degree course) from a recognized university, with a minimum of 60% marks or with a minimum of 60% marks or the institute of equivalent or the institute of Engineers (India) or the Aeronaal Society, the section A and B examination of the Associate Membership of the Aeronautical Society. A minimum of 60% marks or equivalent from a recognized university in India.

4. Meteorological Entrance:

Any science stream / mathematics / statistics / geography / computer application / applied physics / oceanography / meteorology / meteorology / agricultural meteorology / ecology / ecology / environmental / environmental biology with minimum 50% marks in all papers with minimum 50% marks (provided the study of mathematics and physics is done with minimum 55% marks at graduate level).
