Indian PM in Vienna after 41 years, discussions on wide dimensions of bilateral partnership

The Prime Minister received a warm welcome when he met Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer for a private dinner ahead of his official talks on Wednesday. The two leaders hugged each other and the Austrian Chancellor was also seen taking a selfie with PM Modi.

Narendra Modi said the friendship between India and Austria will grow even stronger in times to come as he was given a red carpet welcome in Vienna, the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister in over 40 years. Modi, who arrived at the Vienna airport after a two-day visit to Russia, was received by Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg.
