Jairam Thakur Alleges Congress Govt in Himachal is Anti Sanatan

Years

Thakur said that since the Congress came to power, incidents against Hindus have increased in Himachal Pradesh. The Chief Minister himself publicly said to defeat a party that represents the ideology of 97 percent of the Hindus of this state. This statement has now become the government’s operational mindset.

Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur on Saturday accused the Congress government led by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu of promoting the anti -eternal mentality and systematically targeting the Hindu population of the state. Thakur was addressing a press conference with BJP state president Rajiv Bindal in Shimla. Thakur said that since the Congress came to power, incidents against Hindus have increased in Himachal Pradesh. The Chief Minister himself publicly said to defeat a party that represents the ideology of 97 percent of the Hindus of this state. This statement has now become the government’s operational mindset.

Citing a recent incident at Paonta Sahib, Thakur said, “The case of the disappearance of a Hindu girl is nothing but love jihad. The shocking thing is that the police deliberately delayed the FIR lodging the FIR despite repeated requests of the family. The girl could be traced only after the angry protests.” He alleged that the government responded to the resentment of the people not with justice but with political vengeance. Cases have now been registered against senior BJP leaders including D under BNS Section 109.

He said that during the current Congress government, there have been many incidents pointing to anti -Hindu prejudice. The BJP leader said that this is not the first time that the Congress government has shown open bias against Hindus or tried to suppress the voice of the opposition. In the Manohar murder case in Chamba, the government did not allow opposition leaders to go to the spot. In Nahan, a Muslim youth from Saharanpur killed the cow and shared the pictures on social media, yet no legal action was taken.
