On Friday, the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) got permission from the Home Ministry to prosecute former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav in the land for job scam. The CBI had given full information against him in the Rouse Avenue Court. And after this, now the Home Ministry has given permission to prosecute Lalu Prasad Yadav in the money laundering case related to the land for job scam.

Lalu Prasad Yadav’s troubles increased
The Home Ministry today (September 20) has given permission to prosecute former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav in the money laundering case related to the land for job scam. The Home Ministry has given permission to prosecute Lalu Yadav on the final charge sheet of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the related case.
Clouds of crisis loom over Lalu Yadav’s family
Let us tell you that earlier on September 18, Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court had issued summons to former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Yadav, former Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav and other accused in the money laundering case related to ‘land for job’. They have been asked to appear in court on October 7. This is the first time Tej Pratap Yadav has been summoned in this case. The court said that Tej Pratap Yadav’s involvement cannot be ruled out. Although a charge sheet was not filed against him initially, he was a director in AK Infosys Limited and now he has been summoned.
The court has also included Akhileshwar Singh and his wife Kiran Devi in ​​its summons. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had filed a supplementary chargesheet on August 6, listing 11 accused. Four of these persons have died since then.

What did the court say?
The court has directed Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav, Akhileshwar Singh, Hazari Prasad Rai, Sanjay Rai, Dharmendra Singh and Kiran Devi. The court also clarified that the ED had made Akhileshwar Singh an accused, while his wife Kiran Devi was not initially charged. However, she is involved in the case of selling land to Misa Bharti in exchange for a job for her son Abhishek. The court said there is sufficient material for further action against the accused. Meanwhile, the Delhi High Court on Tuesday granted regular bail to businessman Amit Katyal on medical grounds.
