According to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, “PM Modi asked for votes from the stage for the person who did such a terrible thing. Why doesn't he answer on this? He has every information about who is going where. He also knows about me. They keep saying that a demon has committed such a big crime but he doesn't know why he should come on the stage and talk about it. Sometimes they are seen standing with those who oppress women.”

FIR has been registered against Prajwal Revanna
This verbal attack by the youth leader of Congress has been said at a time when hundreds of videos related to the Karnataka sex scandal case have been found and a day earlier i.e. on Sunday (April 28, 2024), former Karnataka minister HD An FIR was lodged against Revanna and his son Prajwal Revanna on charges of sexual harassment and stalking.
“Used to talk obscenely on video calls” – allegation
Based on the complaint of Revanna's domestic help, a case has been registered at Holenarasipur police station in the district. According to the complainant, she is a relative of Revanna's wife Bhavani. The victim alleged that four months after joining the job, Revanna started sexually harassing her, while Prajwal used to make video calls to her daughter and make “obscene remarks”.

HD Revanna is the son of former Prime Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) chief HD Deve Gowda, while Prajwal Revanna is the sitting MP from Hassan. 33-year-old Prajwal Haasan is the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate in this general election from the Lok Sabha constituency, where voting was held on April 26.
