US President Donald Trump is still expecting to end the Russia-Ukraine war. Trump’s envoy Steve Witchoff held a meeting with Russian President Putin on 11 April 2025. Meanwhile, Trump again claimed that if he were President during that time, there would not be a war between Russia-Ukraine. He also said that Russia will have to move forward, because many people are dying.

On the morning of 12 April, at least 3 people were injured in a Russian drone attack in Swiatoshanski district of Kiev. Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (SES) said that two warehouses, who were part of a one -storey warehouse and an industrial venture, caught fire in Kiev’s Swiatoshanski district. The agency said the fire caused by the attacks has been extinguished. In the footage and images released by the SES, rescue teams are seen working to extinguish the fire.
