Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to hold his second meeting with US President Donald Trump on Monday. Trump took over the President in the US in January this year. A White House official has confirmed that the meeting is being held by Israeli in the backdrop of the deployment of soldiers in a new security corridor in Gaza to pressurize the Hamas terrorist group. Netanyahu’s office has stated that the meeting will focus on tariff issues, efforts to return our hostages, Israel-Turki relations, Iranian threats and fighting against the International Criminal Court. It is noteworthy that Israel is facing 17 percent tariffs under Trump’s latest tariff announcements.

Netanyahu is facing pressure in his country
However, Netanyahu is facing pressure in his country as the people of Israel are opposing Netanyahu’s steps to lack any compromise to bring back the remaining hostages and dismiss the country’s domestic security agency’s chief and Attorney General. He is also being pressurized to accept the responsibility of his role to fail to stop the October 7 attack.

The family of hostages urged Trump to put ‘pressure’ on Netanyahu
In a statement on Saturday, relatives of the hostages in Gaza requested Trump that “Please use all his power to end this war on Netanyahu to end this war and bring back our hostages. Trump has also indicated that his second foreign trip, which may be in May, would include the Saudi Arabia, Qatar and possibly the United Arab Amarat and the United Arab Arabian. He wants to recognize his investment in America by rewarding Saudi Arabia and all Gulf countries will commit to employment creation in America during his visit.
