Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan criticized Air India for allotment of broken seat while going from Bhopal to Delhi on Saturday. He expressed concern over the issue and said that the matter is not about his inconvenience in sitting, but it is immoral to sit in uncomfortable seats for passengers. He also made a tweet about this. Now politics has intensified on this. The Congress has targeted the Modi government on the pretext of Shivraj and has accused of making a kiln of each sector.
The Congress wrote on X that the Modi government has made a kiln of every sector. Passengers in the railways are upset. Passengers on the plane are upset. People keep complaining, keep making videos, but there is no hearing. It has been said in the X post that now Shivraj ji has a problem, then he is tweeting, maybe action can be taken on it. But the situation is not going to improve, because any system is cured from above. And above, there is no time to beat the dhol of ‘Sab Hold Si’. People face trouble.
Shivraj had earlier written in his post that today I had to come to Delhi from Bhopal, the inauguration of the Kisan Mela in Pusa, a meeting of the natural farming mission in Kurukshetra and discussing with the honorable representatives of the farmer organization in Chandigarh. I had a ticket in Air India flight number AI436, I was allotted seat number 8C. I went and sat on the seat, the seat was broken and was sunken inside. Sitting was painful. When I asked the aircraft workers that there was a bad seat, why allotted? He said that the management had earlier informed that this seat is not good, its ticket should not be sold. There are not one more seats.
He further said that the hills urged me a lot that I should change the seat and sit on a good seat, but why should I hurt another friend for myself, I decided that I will sit on this seat and complete my journey. My belief was that Air India’s service would have improved after taking Tata management, but it was my illusion. I am not worried about the trouble in sitting, but after recovering all the money from the passengers, it is immoral to sit on a bad and painful seat. Is this not cheating on passengers? Will the Air India management take steps to ensure that a passenger does not have such trouble or will take advantage of the compulsion of passengers to reach early.
