- The exam will be of maximum 100 marks.
- The exam will be of a maximum of 100 questions.
- The maximum time period of the exam will be 2 hours.

Candidates will be called for a timing test of 400 words in English in 10 minutes in 10 minutes in the written examination. In the typewriting test, the selected candidate will be called for the Computer Science Test (Practical) and the selected candidate in the Computer Science Test (Practical) will be called for the Viva-Voice Test. Candidates participating in the typewriting test are required to bring their typewriter machine.
In addition, the candidate will be prescribed a fraction of 400 words in 5 minutes in the English language, which will be taken in the shorthand on the shorthand not-sheet supplied by the examiner. He will reproduce such a shorthand test of 400 words in a type script in 10 minutes. Candidates participating in these tests are required to bring their type writers machine.
The selected candidates (for the post of Stenographer, Grade-III) in the written examination will be called for shorthand and typewriting test. In the above examination, the selected candidate will be called for Computer Science Test (Practical) and the selected candidate in the Computer Science Test (Practical) will be called for the Viva-Voice Test.
