Odisha government will release the assistance amount of the fifth phase of Subhadra scheme on March 6

Bhubaneswar. The Odisha government will issue Rs 5,000 to 1.7 lakh women beneficiaries under the Subhadra scheme on March 6. An official gave this information. This will be the fifth phase of distribution of the first installment of the scheme. The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said in a post on ‘X’, “Odisha’s important plan Subhadra has crossed the figure of one crore. In the fifth phase on March 6, 2025, more than 1.7 lakh women will get the first installment of Rs 5,000. ‘
The post said, “Playing the promise, a second installment of Rs 5,000 will be distributed to about one crore women on International Women’s Day (March 8); Odisha is moving forward with her women. ”Deputy Chief Minister Parvati Parida said that the first installment of Rs 5,000 has already been provided to more than 98 lakh women beneficiaries in four stages.
Pariida, in -charge of the Women and Child Development Department, told reporters, “For the first time in the history of Odisha, one crore people have been included under a scheme and that too in a short period of eight months.” He said that the last date to submit the application to get the benefit of the scheme will be 31 March. Subhadra Yojana was started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 17 September last year. The objective of this scheme is to provide Rs 50,000 in five years from 2024-25 to 2028-29 to eligible women between the ages of 21 to 60 years.
