The parents alleged that they tried to save the “chief conspirators” behind the crime, while the CBI failed to catch all the criminals and ignored the aspect of the big conspiracy.
The mother of the deceased doctor told a prominent Bengali TV channel, “Everyone, including the Kolkata Police, Hospital Administration and the public representatives of the ruling Trinamool, played an active role in suppressing this horrific incident, so that the truth would not be revealed.”
The body of the postgraduate trainee (31) was found in RG on August 9 last year in the Medical College and the seminar hall of the hospital. The lower court on January 20 sentenced Sanjay Roy to life imprisonment till death.
