New Delhi. A marathon “Run for a Girl Child” is being organized by the social organization Seva Bharati Delhi on 13 April at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi. The objective of this run is being done with the objective of teenage development, women empowerment which will include prestigious personalities associated with Bollywood, business, sports, education, women empowerment and armed forces with sisters of service settlements.
Seva Bharati, run since 1979, is working through hundreds of its workers in 1123 service settlements of Delhi in the field of health, rites, education and self -reliance.
Highlighting the purpose of this program, Shri Ramesh Aggarwal, the province president of Seva Bharati, said that along with making India a developed nation, it is very important to make a world guru, in this effort, every section of the society is connected, Seva Bharati is trying for this. Through Run for a Girl Child, we are trying to bring the deprived sections of society and elite on a platform. Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium will include every section of the society for the purpose of women empowerment and teenage development.
Nidhi Ahuja, secretary of Seva Bharti and convenor of the program, said that we are targeting all the service settlements, professional runners and youth of Delhi, along with various service businessmen of Delhi have also been invited to join this run. Seva Bharati Delhi has also started 132 teenage development centers in the service settlements of the entire state. Our aim is that through these centers we will provide services to 1 lakh adolescent girls and daughters. Cricketers Virender Sehwag, Shikhar Dhawan, Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora, PT Usha have so far supported the event.
Sushil Gupta, General Secretary of Seva Bharati, said that Seva Bharti is conducting various projects in Delhi in the field of health, education and self -reliance with teenage development, teenage development and operating various projects in Delhi in collaboration with the supporters and service of the society. This marathon is being organized with the goal of overall development of girls.
Run for Girl Child will start from 6 am at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The race includes categories like 10 km (TimD run), 5 km (fun run), and 3 km (fun run). More than 5000 participants of all ages are expected to participate in the event.

There are movable-immovable and mobile dispenser running in the field of healthcare, besides two dialysis centers, radiology, path lab, leprosy and other medical services are also going on.
In the field of self -reliance, courses like sewing, henna, beauticians, computer courses, street Children’s projects, typing, arts and cropped and puffation designing are being run.
Socially Kanya Pujan, Matruchhaya, Kirtan Bhajan Mandali, mass marriage, women’s seminar story, havan and festivals and festivals from time to time, all these works are done by women committees with the participation of settlement.
