Steps towards smooth traffic in Patna

The biggest reason for traffic jam in the capital Patna is narrow roads, disorganized power wires and water logging. In view of this, the road will be widened from Danapur-Nehru Path to Gola Road, which will provide relief from the jam in Danapur and Bailey Road area. J.P. The Ganga Path will be expanded from Koilwar to Mokama. This will provide an alternative route for vehicles coming from the outskirts of the capital. Patna-Gaya Road will be connected to Sadiqpur-Pabheda-Masorahi Path. This will provide a bypass to Gaya and Jehanabad and the pressure on the main roads will be reduced.

Apart from Patna, there is a plan to repair the traffic system in other districts of the division-

• Traffic reforms in Buxar: New roads will be developed with modernization of Ramrekha Ghat in Buxar. So that traffic can be smooth till the religious tourist destination.
• New roads in Rohtas and Kaimur:
The widening of water supply from the Son River and the widening of the Karghar-Barahari-Dharmapura road will strengthen the connectivity of the area.
• Alternative routes in Bhojpur:
A new road project from Koelwar to Ara will be brought, which will provide relief from the problem of jam.
• Tourism and connectivity in Nalanda:
Ropeways, eco-tourism centers and new resorts will be set up in Rajgir, which will make the movement of tourists easier.

Relief will be provided from new bridges and flyover

The construction of new bridges and flyover in Patna and its surrounding areas will also reduce the problem of jam. The missing link road connecting Punpun station to Patna Ring Road will be constructed, which will eliminate the jam around Punpun station. Bridges will be constructed on the Dhoba River in Bakhtiyarpur and Morhar River in Punpun, which will ensure easy traffic from rural areas to Patna and other cities.

Drainage and power wires will be solved

In Patna, underground drains will be built on both sides of the Nehru path and roads will be developed on the Rajiv Nagar and Anandpuri drains, which will provide relief from the jam caused by water logging during the rainy season. In addition, electric wires will be underground in Patna city, which will get rid of the jam caused by electric poles and hanging wires.

Greenfield airport will reduce traffic pressure on the city

The central government will be requested to construct the new international greenfield airport in Patna. This will reduce traffic pressure at Jayaprakash Narayan Airport and reduce the load of vehicles in the city.
