SP Chhatra Sabha leaders took to the field in Lucknow to honor Ambedkar

Lucknow. In Lucknow University, student leaders belonging to various political parties talked about continuing the fight for the honor of Baba Saheb by burning the effigy of Home Minister Amit Shah. All of them were associated with Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha, NSUI and AISA, who were hurt by the Home Minister’s statement on Dr. Ambedkar in the Parliament. They demonstrated in the campus carrying the effigy of the Home Minister. The police detained the students for burning the effigy and sent them to Eco Garden. During this, the students raised slogans against the government and expressed their displeasure by hoisting the poster of the Home Minister.
Let us tell you that the angry students had issued a warning of burning the effigy of the Home Minister and protesting immediately after Shah’s statement. In such a situation, the entire university campus appeared to be a cantonment and there was heavy presence of police force here. Despite this, the students managed to burn the effigy while dodging the police. Activists associated with AISA and Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha burnt the effigy at the front gate of Hanuman Setu. When they tried to block the road, the police detained everyone and released them after giving a warning.

NSUI worker Shubham Kharwar and other students blackened the poster of the Home Minister in front of the Ambedkar statue in Hazratganj. Here the police detained Congress workers. The protesting students warned that if the Home Minister did not apologize for his remarks on Baba Saheb in the House, the students would be forced to protest more violently. The protesters included Prince Kumar Yadav, Kanchi Singh, Ankur Yadav, Vipul Yadav, Deepshikha, Anurag Yadav, Ambuj Yadav from NSUI, Sudhanshu Rana from NSUI, Kritendra, Raghuvansh, Ali, Anandi and Nikhil from AISA and other students.
