physical standards (Physical Standards)
The physical standards prescribed for the post of constable are –
A. Height:
For Male: 170 cms.
For Women: 157 cms.
B.Chest:
For Men only – Unexpanded: 80 cms.
- Expanded: Minimum expansion 5 cm.
C. Weight:
For men and women: Height and age ratio as per medical standards.
D.Running:
For Male: 5 km. In 24 minutes.
For women: 1.6 km. 30 seconds in 8 minutes.

On-line submission website of application form (https://www.ssc.nic.in/) Logging in can be done using user name and password. Facility of online application will be available. Such candidates should maintain the registration number assigned to them for correspondence with the Commission. They are not required to submit the print out of their application to the Commission.
