The Champions Trophy 2025 is going to start from February 19. The tournament will be played on the basis of hybrid model. India will play in UAE under all its matches, while all other matches of league stage will be played in Pakistan. The first batch of the Indian team has left for this ICC tournament on Saturday, February 15. Apart from captain Rohit Sharma, coach Gautam Gambhir and star batsman Virat Kohli appeared in this batch. However, Rohit arrived in Mumbai Airport by his personal car.
After the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, the BCCI issued some guidelines for the Indian players, in which a rule was that all the players had to travel in the team bus simultaneously. But fans are questioning Rohit’s arrival in Mumbai Airport Personal Car.
In the Champions Trophy, Team India will start their campaign against Bangladesh on February 20, while they will face the arch-rivals Pakistan on 23 February. The last match of the league stage Team India will play against New Zealand on 2 March.
The BCCI has announced the final squad for the Champions Trophy. Jasprit Bumrah is out of the tournament due to injury. Harshit Rana has been replaced in his squad. At the same time, Varun Chakraborty has got a place in the last 15 players in place of Yashasvi Jaiswal on the end of the end.
