Often a terrorist attack occurs anywhere in the world, two words Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed are very much discussed. Let us tell you that there are two dreaded terrorist organizations in the world named Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed. Those who often take responsibility for attacks. But you will be surprised to know that Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed do not mean terrorism in Islam.

There were many reasons behind the formation of Lashkar. But one of the main reasons was to liberate Jammu and Kashmir and establish Islamic rule here. Pakistan banned Lashkar -e -Taiba after an attack on Parliament in 2001. After this Hafiz Saeed dissolved the Markaz Dawa-Val-Irshad. After this, he started working in the name of that organization, which started it i.e. Jamaat Ud Dawa. Changing the name was just a pretense. The work was to spread panic there. All he had to show is that he had no connection with Lashkar -e -Taiba. But many countries like India, United Nations and America admitted that there are still deep relations between Jamaat Ud Dawa and Lashkar -e -Taiba. Both organizations actually complement each other.

Name big and philosophy small

Often a terrorist attack occurs anywhere in the world, two words Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed are very much discussed. Let us tell you that there are two dreaded terrorist organizations in the world named Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed. Those who often take responsibility for attacks. But you will be surprised to know that Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed do not mean terrorism in Islam. Dr. Omar Ahmed Ilyasi, head of All India Imam Organization (AIIO), has described the Islamic meaning of both these words. He says that Jihad is often seen as a negative word, but its real meaning is Jadd-o-Jahad i.e. Struggle. Jihad is a positive word. Similarly, Lashkar-e-Taiba means ‘Army of Mohammed Saheb’ and Jaish-e-Mohammed means ‘Mohammed’s army’. It has nothing to do with terror.

Connection also with Osama’s al-Qaeda

Many members of Lashkar-e-Taiba are Pakistani or Afghan. The group is believed to have tied up with the Taliban government of Afghanistan and Osama bin Laden, the founder and leader of al-Qaeda. In August 1998, Lashkar-e-Taiba and another militant Muslim group of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen were killed when American cruise missiles attacked bin Laden’s training camps in Afghanistan and caught a senior official of al-Qaeda in a safe house in Lashkar-e-Taiba in March 2002.
