Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on Thursday that Artificial Intelligence and other emerging technologies are bringing revolution in improving and fighting war in important ways. He said that the war is moving beyond the traditional areas of land, sea and air, moving rapidly in new areas of space, cyber, water and creative efforts. Rajnath Singh, while attending the annual day celebrations of Defense Staff Training College in Wellington, Nilgiri, said that at present, technology is carrying on geographical and national security as before.

The Defense Minister said, “We are in the era of ‘gray zone’ and mixed war where cyber attacks, propagation of misinformation and economic wars have become such means that can lead to target as a target of political-monetary objectives without firing a single bullet.” “Gray Zone ‘means a period where there is a competition between the state and state and peace.” In this, traditional methods and strategies are used which do not come under the scope of traditional war.
Rajnath Singh said that the emerging basket of AI and technologies – robotics, military autonomy, dronery, quantum, blockchain, space, cyber, electronics, adorable manufacturing and other similar technologies are bringing revolution in important methods. He said that the war is moving beyond the traditional areas of land, sea and air, moving rapidly in new areas of space, cyber, water and creative efforts. He said that his ministry is making significant progress on the targets set for the year 2025, which aims to convert India’s armed forces into a ready-made force for a technically advanced and multi-domain integrated operation.
