Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has launched a new attack on Army Chief Asim Munir. Shahbaz Sharif’s government has recently promoted Army Chief General Asim Munir as Field Marshal. This is the second such title in the history of the country. Imran Khan and Asim Munir’s rivalry is years old, but now, Imran Khan from jail continues to challenge Munir’s authority. He said that Asim Munir should have taken the title of Raja in place of Field Marshal as the law of forest is going on in the country at this time. Bushra Bibi is due to Imran and Asim Munir’s collision
The court of Imran Khan and General Asim Munir is years old. Imran used to be Wazir A Azam of Pakistan. At the same time, Asim Munir took charge of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) in the year 2018. ISI is Pakistan’s largest intelligence service. The court story started between the two during this period. It is said that Asim Munir is made ISI Chief in October 2018. But he is removed from the post only after eight months. He has been the ISI Chief for the shortest term. At that time, Imran Khan’s wife Bushra BBB was said to be the reason for Munir’s removal. Media reports show that General Munir started spying on Imran Khan’s house while being ISI Chief. One day he reached Imran Khan directly to Imran Khan with a doseer against Bushra Bibi. Munir told Imran that Pakistan’s businessman Riyaz Malik has given a diamond necklace to Bushra Bibi. Being the wife of the Prime Minister, he should not take this defeat. Shahbaz changed the law for Munir
Later, Shahbaz Sharif became the Prime Minister of Pakistan on 11 April 2022 in a dramatic development. General Qamar Javed Bajwa was about to retire. Shahbaz took advantage of the opportunity and made Imran’s old enemy Asim Munir the new army chief. The interesting thing in this was that Javed was about to retire General Munir, 4 days before Bajwa retired, but Shahbaz changed the law to increase his tenure and made him the Chief of Army Staff. Apart from this, the residence and office of the army commanders were also attacked. Petrol bombs were fired at the army headquarters in Rawalpindi. 8 people died in this violent demonstration.
