US President Donald Trump vetoed the plan presented by Israel to the US in connection with killing Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. An American official gave this information.
Israel informed the Trump administration in recent times that it had made a reliable plan to kill Khamenei. On the condition of anonymity, the official said that after getting information about the scheme, the ‘White House’ (the official residence and office of the US President) made it clear to the Israeli officials that Trump is against Israel against being taken by Israel.
The Trump administration wants to stop the Israeli military campaign into a more comprehensive struggle with the aim of destroying Iran’s nuclear program and sees a plan to kill Khamenei as a move that further provokes the conflict and will potentially destabilize the area.
When asked about the plan during an interview on the “Special Report with Brett Bayer” by the ‘Fox News’ channel, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not directly say whether the ‘White House’ has rejected the plan or not.
Netanyahu said, “But I can tell you and I think we will do what we should do. I think America knows what is good for America. ”
Netanyahu also said that the change of governance could definitely result in conflict “because Iran’s rule is very weak.” Netanyahu’s office refused to comment on these reports when asked about the reports of Trump’s rejection of the proposal by Trump.
