In the Sikanderpur police station area of Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh, uncle-nephew was killed in a fight between two parties over a dispute of land. Police said on Thursday that two other people were also injured in the incident.
According to Superintendent of Police Omvir Singh, Ramjit Yadav and his son Niranjan, Neeraj, Manish and some other persons entered the house of Pankaj Yadav (24) of the other side and present there in the house of Ramjit Yadav and his son Niranjan, Neeraj, Manish and some other persons over the land dispute on Wednesday night in the village of Sikandarpur police station area. People attacked.
According to Singh, four people were injured in the incident. He said that the seriously injured Pankaj was referred from the district hospital to the hospital at Kashi Hindu University (BHU) in Varanasi, but he died on the way while taking it there late at night.
According to Singh, three other injured were admitted to the hospital in Mau, where Pankaj’s uncle Anil Yadav (42) also died during treatment. Singh said that the police is taking action in this matter and additional police force has been deployed on the spot.
He said that there was a dispute between the two sides over the land for many years and the court had also given a stay order in this case. According to Singh, there was a fight between the two sides a month ago over the dispute and a case was filed from both sides.
