Uttar Pradesh: A young man who went for a walk in the morning shot dead in broad daylight

A young man who went for a walk in Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday morning was shot dead in broad daylight. Police gave this information. Police said that the incident took place in the Civil Line police station area and escaped the spot in front of the friends of the accused youth.

According to the police, Kartya Patel (23), a resident of Badarpur village, had come out for a walk with his comrades at around 5 am on Sunday. Police said that there was a dispute about something between Shaurya Thakur and Kartya Patel, a youth named Shaurya Thakur near ‘Pawan Banquet Hall’.

According to the police, in the meantime, Shaurya Thakur fired three bullets with an illegal weapon, out of which one bullet was fired to Dutha Vyas Patel and his other two companions narrowly survived. Police said that Duty Patel’s friends immediately took him to the district hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

An official said that after receiving information about the murder, the police reached the spot and took the body and sent it for postmortem and got involved in the investigation of the case. Police officer (city) Rajneesh Kumar Upadhyay said that a case was filed on the basis of Tahrir of the family and the accused would soon be arrested.

All senior officers and judges of the district live just 200 meters from the scene and the civil line area is considered to be the safest area in Badaun city, where the incident happened.
