Uttarakhand Junior Assistant Syllabus Exam Pattern in Hindi 2024 :

• The medium of examination will be objective.
• The examination will be in two languages ​​(English and Hindi)
• The question paper will be divided into two parts (Section ‘A’ and Section ‘B’).
• There will be 75 questions in Section ‘A’ and 25 questions in Section ‘B’.
• There will be 100 questions in the exam question paper.
• Total marks will be 100 marks and each question will be of 1 mark.
• The exam duration will be of 02 hours or 120 minutes.
• There will be negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer in the exam.

• 4- Geography and Demography of India (07 marks): Questions under this will be based on general understanding of geographical, ecological, socio-economic and demographic aspects of India.
• 5- Current events (07 marks): Under this, questions will be based on contemporary events of Uttarakhand state and national importance.
• 6- History of Uttarakhand (06 marks): Historical background of Uttarakhand: Ancient period (from the beginning to 1200 AD): Medieval period (from 1200 to 1815 AD): Influential dynasties and their achievements, Gorkha invasion and rule, British rule, Tehri state and Its governance system, role of Uttarakhand in the freedom movement.
• 7- Culture of Uttarakhand (06 marks): Will be based on castes and tribes, religion and folk beliefs, traditions and customs, costumes and jewellery, fairs and festivals, dance, singing and musical instruments, sports, competitions and awards. .
• 8- Geography and Demography of Uttarakhand (08 marks): Geographical situation – Rivers, mountains, climate, forest resources, soil and horticulture, major crops, means of irrigation, natural and man-made disasters and disaster management, water crisis and disaster management in Uttarakhand. Watershed management, environment and environmental movement, population of Uttarakhand: distribution, density, sex ratio, literacy and population migration.
