On one hand, the Sri Lanka Cricket Board released the schedule of the T20 and ODI series to be played against India. On the other hand, Wanindu Hasaranga left the captaincy of the T20 format even before the Indian team's tour of Sri Lanka. The Sri Lanka Cricket Board has given this information.
Let us tell you that India will tour Sri Lanka for a limited overs series. Which will start with three T20 International matches to be held at Pallekele International Stadium on 26, 27 and 29 July. After this, three ODI matches will be played between the two teams in Colombo.

Hasaranga captained Sri Lanka in the recently concluded T20 World Cup in which the team failed to make it to the Super Eight stage. Hasaranga was quoted in the statement as saying, “As a player, I will always do my best for Sri Lanka and will support and stand by my team and captain as always.”
SLC said it has accepted Hasranga's resignation. SLC said, Sri Lanka Cricket accepts his resignation and wishes to convey that Hasranga will continue to be an important player for us in our international cricket plans.
