Tejashwi has directly attacked Nitish Kumar since he joined the NDA except for the RJD -led grand alliance in January last year. Nitish, who won the tag of ‘Palatu Ram’ due to repeated changes, left the NDA in 2022 to join the opposition-led grand alliance.
Speaking at an RJD program a day after a sharp noise between Nitish and Tejashwi Yadav in the Bihar Legislative Assembly, the RJD leader said that the time has come to send the disabled government for packing. Along with this, he said that yesterday Nitish Kumar said in the assembly that he made Lalu Yadav the Chief Minister. Forget what Nitish Kumar says. But Nitish Kumar should remember that even before him my father has been elected MLA twice and once MP.
Tejashwi said that forget Lalu Yadav, Lalu ji has made many Prime Ministers. This was me who made him (Nitish Kumar) twice CM and saved his party. There is a tired Chief Minister with retired officials in the state. On Tuesday, the Chief Minister hit back at Yadav and said that what was in Bihar earlier? He was the one who made your (Tejashwi Yadav) father. Even the people of your caste were asking me why I am doing this, but I still supported them.
This is one of the rare occasions when Tejashwi has directly attacked Nitish Kumar after joining the NDA in January last year.
