Sakshi Malik was asked why she announced her retirement from wrestling so soon and also why she named her book Witness. Answering this question, Sakshi Malik said that my name also means witness, so I could not understand the name of this book better than this. I liked the name Witness very much and hence it was named this way. There is truth in everything I have written in the book and I always believe in speaking the truth and whatever its outcome will be seen later, but my motive is that whatever is true should be spoken first.
After this, Sakshi Malik, while talking about her retirement from wrestling, said that if I tell you about her retirement, then after struggling for one and a half years, sleeping on the road, the federation still goes into her hands, then I felt that That no, now I can’t wrestle among the same people. So I thought I would retire from wrestling now. However, my fight continues and I keep giving information about these things to the junior girls. I would like to keep talking about changes in the federation.
While talking about the case of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, Sakshi Malik said that change does not happen immediately, it happens gradually, but it is not impossible. There will be a change and as the case is going on in the court and charges have also been framed against him, when the time comes, he will be punished for whatever harassment he has done.
