This 64 -page report includes Diya Verma, daughter of Justice Verma, the statements of 55 witnesses during the investigation. The inquiry committee has recorded statements of a total of 55 witnesses. These include 11 of Delhi Fire Service, 14 of Delhi Police, 6 of CRPF, 18 people of Domestic and Court Staff of Justice Verma, Justice Verma and his daughter etc. But the most important statements are from ten employees who arrived on the spot to extinguish the fire and saw the cash with their own eyes. Most of these people were associated with the Fire Department or Police Department.

Justice Yashwant Verma case 10 witnesses
1. Ankit Sehwag (Fire Officer, DFS): In the light of the flashlight, he saw a pile of half -burnt ₹ 500 notes in the store room. The notes were wet due to water.
2. Pradeep Kumar (Fire Officer, DFS): As soon as he entered the store room, he attached something to his leg. When I bent down, it was a pile of ₹ 500 notes. He informed the colleagues standing outside.
3. Manoj Mahalawat (Station Officer, DFS): He took pictures of the scene. After extinguishing the fire, he himself saw half -baked cash. These are the officers whose voice was heard in the video saying ‘Mahatma Gandhi is getting fire in the brother’.
4. Bhanwar Singh (Driver, DFS): For the first time in a 20 -year fire service career, he saw cash on such a large scale. He was surprised to see the view.
5. Pravindra Malik (Fire Officer, DFS): He saw that the cash filled in the plastic bag was burnt in the fire. The fire was further enraged due to the Licker cabinet.
6. Suman Kumar (Assistant Divisional Officer, DFS): He informed the senior officer about getting cash, but he got the order from above that there are big people, do not take further action.
7. Rajesh Kumar (Tughlaq Road Police Station, Delhi Police): After extinguishing the fire, he himself saw half -baked cash and saw people making videos there.
8. Sunil Kumar (in-charge, ICPCR): She looked at the store room from the flashlight and watched the burnt cash and made three videos.
9. Roop Chand (Head Constable, Tughlaq Road Police Station): He recorded the entire incident from mobile on the instructions of SHO. He saw that the notes were spread from the door of the store room to the back wall.
10. Umesh Malik (SHO, Tughlaq Road Police Station): He saw a pile of 500 rupee notes with 1.5 feet high. Some notes were tied in bundles and some were scattered in water.
5 major reasons for doubt
1. WhatsApp chat with the staff, Justice Verma’s staff said that on the night of 14-15 March, he spoke to only WhatsApp chat and message. This data could not be recovered. The committee admitted that it is not normal to deliberately hide the chat.
2. CCTV footage did not store; The incident took place on 14 March night. That is, Justice Verma had 10 days to get the footage secured, but did not do so. The committee rejected his claim to disappear the footage.
3. Claim of conspiracy, but not evidence; The committee said, when the presence of cash was proved, it was the responsibility of Justice Verma to clarify it. But he only claimed the conspiracy and did not give any concrete evidence.
4. Verma did not even go to see the store room, just after returning to Delhi, Justice Verma and his wife did not go to see the store room where there was a fire. The committee said, any person would definitely go once to take stock of the loss.
5. No complaints have been made anywhere: Report says, Justice Verma neither complained to the police nor informed the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court or High Court. It did not even say that the cash was someone else or how did it reach there?
