Tim Southee has resigned as captain of New Zealand after the clean sweep in the 2-match Test series against Sri Lanka. Tom Latham will captain the 3-match Test series on the India tour. Latham has scored more than 10 thousand runs in international cricket. Latham had previously captained the Test team between 2020 and 2022.
