Women should come forward and take advantage of the Centre’s schemes: Sitharaman

Madhubani (Bihar). Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman urged women to come forward and take advantage of central schemes so that they can become more capable and empowered. Sitharaman was speaking at a ‘credit outreach’ program organized in Madhubani, where loans worth Rs 1,121 crore were provided to 50,294 beneficiaries by various banks. He said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji says that there should be a ‘Lakhpati Didi’ in every village of the country… and for this, banks have started many schemes to provide financial assistance to women.”
Sitharaman said, “Financial assistance and training is being given to women through every Self Help Group (SHG) in Bihar. I urge women to be a part of the schemes launched by the Central Government… so that they can become more capable and empowered.” She also said that women will play an important role in achieving the goal of a developed India by 2047. Will fulfill.
The Finance Minister said, “Our Prime Minister believes that women should lead India’s development. The goal of the NDA (National Democratic Alliance) government is clear…poor, women, youth and farmers are the top four priorities of the government. The Prime Minister gives the example of Bihar and says that other states should also follow the same path of development and growth.” During the program, Sitharaman also distributed copies of the Constitution in Maithili and Sanskrit to the people.
