Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday described Rahul Gandhi’s claims of rigging in Maharashtra’s election in Maharashtra, which the Congress follows after losing the election and describes itself as a victim of a fictional system. This denial came after the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha created a political storm with an article in the Indian Express, in which he made several allegations as a match -fixing trick on the BJP -led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) over the Maharashtra election results, which he claimed that the same would happen in the Bihar elections.

Pradhan wrote on X that Rahul Gandhi’s post on Maharashtra elections is nothing more than an forecasted script- losing elections, defaming institutions, creating conspiracies and showing yourself a victim of a fictional system. But India’s democracy is more stronger than the insecurity of a dynastic that refuses to repeatedly accept electoral decisions. If there is a rigging that Rahul Gandhi should be worried, then it is the rigging in which his own party mastered decades, from the Emergency to the dismissal of opposition governments, he misused Article 356 more than 90 times.
The BJP leader said that we should not forget that it is the same Rahul Gandhi who falsely claimed in Cambridge that Indian democracy is ‘dead’, yet they participate in elections, campaign openly and blame EVMs only after losing. As far as the Election Commission is concerned, it was the Modi government that improves the process by including the Leader of the Opposition (LOP) in the panel – an inclusion that did not exist for decades during the Congress rule. So who is really protecting democracy?

He said that Rahul Gandhi should be self -conscious – match fixing is not when you lose badly; This happens when you try to discredit the umpire because the public refuses to vote for you. The Congress MP claimed in his article that the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) used a five-step blueprint to weaken the democratic process in Maharashtra.
