Age Limit
- No person shall be eligible for direct recruitment if he is below 18 years of age and if he is above 35 years of age.
- For in-service contract workers working in APDISCOMS, the age at the time of entry into the organization as a contract worker will be considered.
- Relaxation in upper age limit up to 5 years is allowed for SC/ST and BC candidates.
Mode Of Selection
- The evaluation will be done on a scale of 100 marks with a maximum of 80 marks for aggregate marks obtained in SSC and a maximum of 20 marks for experience in service as contract worker in APDISCOMs @ 1 mark for each completed period of 6 months.
- Candidates have to appear for the following tests at the Circle Head Quarters :
- Pole Climbing
- meter reading
- cycling

Pay Scale
On selection and appointment the candidates will be paid Rs. 15,000/- per month as consolidated pay for a period of 2 years.
Educational Qualifications
SSC / 10th class with ITI qualification in Electrical trade / Wireman trade or Intermediate Vocational Course in Electrical Domestic Appliances & Rewinding (EDAR) and Electrical Wiring & Servicing of Electrical Appliances (EW&SEA) or equivalent in Electrical Wiring & Contracting (EWC) from a recognized Institute/Board.
