Mode Of Selection
Assam Direct Recruitment Commission will conduct separate competitive examinations for the selection of candidates for various categories of posts. Accordingly, the Commission will select candidates on the basis of merit in the order of higher grade pay keeping in view the reservation for SC, ST, OBC and other categories.
The examinations will be conducted separately on different dates to enable higher degree holders to appear in more than one examination.

Educational Qualifications
The category-wise eligibility criteria is mentioned below.
Grade-IV (Class-IV): Maximum Qualification: The maximum permissible educational qualification for Class IV posts is passing HSSLC or Class 12th or equivalent examination. Candidates having qualifications higher than the maximum qualification on the date of application are not eligible to apply for this vacancy.
Grade III (Category I) :
- Candidates must have passed Bachelor Degree Bachelor Degree (as applicable)
- Candidates must have passed Graduation degree with Computer Certificate/Diploma of minimum 6 months duration. (as applicable)
- Candidates must possess Graduation degree with Computer Certificate/Diploma of minimum 6 (six) months duration and Stenography Certificate from a recognized Institute. (as applicable)
- Candidates must possess Bachelor’s degree in Library Science with Computer Certificate/Diploma of minimum 6 (six) months duration from a recognized Institute. (as applicable)
Grade III (Category II) :
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed HSSLC or Class 12th or equivalent examination. (For some specific posts candidates must have passed 12th class from Science stream.)
Grade III (Category III) :
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed HSLC or equivalent exam with valid LMV Driving License.
