Lucknow. Police have exposed a case of human trafficking in Lucknow. This truth has come to light after a minor was recovered from the house of a businessman in Kanpur. Investigation revealed that Sunil Malik, resident of Alambagh, Lucknow, had bought two children for Rs 60 thousand. He sent one child to his son-in-law in Kanpur, while the other was held hostage and made to clean toilets.
According to Govind Nagar police station in-charge of Kanpur, on Tuesday night, a person named Shri Bhagwan from Gurugram called the control room and requested to save his son. Told that some people have taken the son hostage and are beating him. Police raided the house of furniture businessman Ankit Anand, resident of Govind Nagar, Kanpur. A 12 year old boy was found from Ankit’s house. During investigation the child narrated his ordeal. After this the accused furniture businessman was taken into custody.
During interrogation, businessman Ankit told that his father-in-law Sunil Malik, resident of Alambagh, had bought children of 12 and 8 years of age from Mr. Bhagwan Mahato alias Ramu, resident of Tarniaghat in East Champaran district of Bihar, through broker Pappu Yadav, resident of Gurugram, for Rs 30,000 each. . One child from Alambagh was brought by his wife Sakshi to Kanpur for household work, while the other is at her father-in-law’s house. The police arrested the accused along with handing over the child to his family members.

The innocent boy started crying as soon as he saw the police in front of him. The innocent boy told that his mistress beats him a lot. Pappu Yadav had lured his father to earn money and left him and his cousin at Alambagh three months ago. In both Alambagh and Kanpur, along with cleaning toilets, children’s filth was also being cleaned. Kanpur Police has registered an FIR against Ankit Anand, Sakshi, Sunil Malik and Pappu Yadav who brought the child.
There is a very old relationship between Sunil Malik and human smuggler Pappu Yadav. It is being told that Sunil contacted Pappu several times. It is believed that many children have been trafficked before this also. Police say that the entire matter will come to light after arresting Sunil.
