The all -party delegation led by BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad returned to Delhi on Sunday after a diplomatic visit to six European countries, during which MPs expressed India’s situation on terrorism strongly and informed their counterparts about India’s response through Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor.
Talking to reporters on reaching the national capital, Prasad said: “It looks great by coming back to India. Our delegation visited France, Italy, Denmark, England, Brussels and Germany. We met senior Parliament leaders, think-tank and Indian community. We have been very angry in foreign countries and all countries have also condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. It was going to be a very satisfactory journey between India and Europe. ”

The delegation at Berlin met the top government and parliamentary leaders of Germany including External Affairs Minister Johan Wedful and Bundestag Vice President Omid Noorpur. MPs reiterated India’s zero-optional policy on terrorism and its theoretical approach to border attacks. He emphasized the non-high, accurate and responsible nature of Operation Sindoor, run in response to the incident of Pahalgam. BJP MP Samik Bhattacharya, who was in the delegation, said: “We visited six countries in Europe and we came to know that the whole of Europe is trying to get into a new economic system and every country has condemned the Pahalgam terrorist attack. We have given the message that if any terrorist activity is seen on the border, then its answer will be different. We did not ask for a mediation from a country.”

According to a statement by the Indian Embassy in Germany, the delegation emphasized that terrorism is a global threat that should be faced with a united global reaction. German talkiers welcomed the discussion and expressed solidarity with India.
Pakistan’s role was highlighted, migrant, think-tank joined
The delegation also met the European Parliamentary officials, prominent members of the Foreign Policy and Defense Committee and also a major think-tank like Conrad Adenora Stifting (KAS). He discussed the immediate need for strong multilateral efforts against terrorism and search the possibility of intensive cooperation on terrorism, defense and strategic issues.
