method of selection (Mode Of Selection)

  • Phase-I
    Online Exam. Qualified candidates will be sent admit cards for Phase-I on their registered e-mail ID 48-72 hours before the examination. Candidates have to download the admit card, take a colored printout and carry it to the examination centre. The city name and examination date will be informed to the candidates in advance so that they can plan their travel.
  • Phase-II Immediately after the declaration of the result of Phase-I (Online) Examination, cut off will be applied on the normalized marks obtained by the candidates in Phase-I Examination and the State wise shortlisted candidates will be selected according to their residential category chosen at the time of registration. A fresh admit card will be sent to their registered e-mail ID for Phase-II examination at the specified ASC as per.
  • Physical Fitness Test (PFT). Names of shortlisted candidates qualifying the online examination will be displayed on CASB web portal https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in and called at the designated ASC for Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Adaptability Test-II on the scheduled date. Will go. PFT consists of two parts i.e. PFT-I and PFT-II.
    PFT-I. Candidates will have to complete the 1.6 kilometer run as per the following timings to qualify for PFT-II
  • Medical examination. Medical appointment letter will be issued by the concerned ASC to the candidates who qualify the Adaptability Test-II.
  • The medical examination will be conducted by the Air Force medical team as per IAF medical standards and the prevailing policy on the subject issue. The medical examination will also include baseline testing.

Science subjects :

  • Candidates must have passed Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from a Board of Education recognized by Central, State and Union Territory Administration with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.
  • Must have passed three year Diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/Information Technology) from a Polytechnic Institute recognized by Central, State or Union Territory Administration with 50% marks in aggregate and Diploma course. 50% marks in English (or Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in the Diploma course).
  • Must have passed two years professional course with non-professional subject like Physics and Mathematics from a Board of Education recognized by Central, State and Union Territory Administration with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in professional course (or Intermediate /In Matriculation, if English is not a subject in professional course).

Apart from science subjects :

  • Passed Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination in any stream/subject from a board of education recognized by the Central, State and Union Territory with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
  • Passed two-year professional course from a Board of Education recognized by the Central, State and Union Territory Administration with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50 marks in English in professional course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in professional course).

Indian Air Force Agniveer Air Recruitment How to Apply

Candidates have to fill the online application by logging on to https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in.

During online registration, the following documents as applicable are to be uploaded by the concerned candidates:

  • Class 10th/Matriculation passing certificate.
  • Chosen Residence Certificate/COAFP Certificate as mentioned in para 8.
  • Intermediate/10+2 or equivalent mark sheet.

3-year Engineering Diploma final year mark sheet (if application is made on the basis of 3-year Engineering Diploma from a Government recognized Polytechnic in the prescribed stream) and Intermediate/Matriculation mark sheet (if English is not a subject in the Diploma course).

Mark sheet of 2 year professional course of non-professional course with English, Physics and Mathematics subjects.

Higher education qualification/additional skill certificate, if any.

Recent passport size color photograph (taken not earlier than November 2024) of 10 KB to 50 KB size (frontal photograph against light background without facemask and head gear, except for Sikhs).

The photograph is to be taken by the candidate holding a black slate in front of his chest on which his name and the date of being photographed should be clearly written in white chalk in capital letters. Changes in appearance like beard, head gear etc. as compared to the photograph may lead to cancellation of candidature for STAR Online Examination and Phase-II.
