Rajeev Aggarwal UPSC Success Story: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final results of Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2023 on 16 April. Many candidates have achieved success in this prestigious examination. At the same time, Rajiv Aggarwal of Agra, who made it to the merit list, has passed the UPSC Civil Services Examination by securing All India 103 rank in his 5th attempt. Initially, he had passed the examination for the post of Naib Tehsildar in the first attempt. Rajeev Aggarwal has performed much better in his previous attempts also. He secured All India 269th rank in his fourth attempt and was appointed to the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) department. He is currently undergoing training for this posting at the National Direct Tax Academy, Nagpur. However, before this he has also worked as an officer in State Bank of India and Naib Tehsildar in Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh.

Reason for success attributed to proper time management
Rajeev completed his primary education from KM Public School, Kirawali, Uttar Pradesh. After completing school, he also obtained BSc Computer Science and MSc Computer Science degrees. He has obtained these degrees from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra. After completing his school education and college education, he prepared for UPSC by working on the post of Naib Tehsildar. In an interview given to a portal, he attributed his success to proper time management and regular studies.

Rajeev's father is the owner of a shoe shop in Kirawali. His wife Aditi Singh is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Raja Balwant Singh College, Agra. Meanwhile, her mother-in-law Mamta Singh works as a professor in the Hindi department of Agra College. Rajeev ended the interview by saying that he gives credit for his success to God, his parents, wife, in-laws, teachers and friends.

Apart from Rajiv, other toppers are Aditya Srivastava, who has topped the exam, followed by Animesh Pradhan, who has secured All-India Rank 2. Donuru Ananya Reddy has secured rank 3. At the same time, a total of 1016 candidates have been recommended for appointment and out of these, 347 are from the general category. While 115 are from economically weaker section, 303 are from Other Backward Class, 165 are from Scheduled Caste and 86 are from Scheduled Tribe categories.
